Numbering applied to DW 103310 if examined closely original number stamped into underframe 107177 Below the hook and the DO date.

B 946060 50t Borail 1962 Standard Wagon, purchased from York Wagon Shops, on NYMR since 1997.
DS 62058 Walrus 40t 1947 Ashford, on NYMR since 1982.
DB 983014 Dogfish 20t.
18 / 900572 SNOWPLOUGH NER built York 1909, on the NYMR since 1975, owned by B Blundell. One of a pair of fully timber framed ploughs still surviving (Sister plough No 20 at Beamish). 18 featured in BTF Film “Snowdrift at Bleath Ghyll” in 1955. Currently off railway under restoration (No 12 the NRM plough at Shildon is steel framed).

There is actually a wagon in here, Borail Ds64752. Sometime it is due to take its place in the repair shed for a new floor at least.

Back in 1981 the group acquired 3 hoppers from Rowntree’s in York. Lettered up as A1, A2 and A3. They are it seems of ex GWR origin. In the photo here they are shown pre despatch from Rowntrees York factory in May 1981. Photo taken by the works photographer.

This wagon has now been sold and has moved to Cottesmore and the Rutland Railway for “Rocks by Rail”
It is believed to be the sole survivor of a GWR Ballast hopper to its diagram.
Sometimes we have other vehicles moving through the yard on and off the railway.
30-12-11 J72 Joem returned to the NYMR after a journey that included a blow out between Malton and Pickering.
Sunday 12th Feb 2012.
Running services was the DMU including the centre car provided by the group. The crossover is the next relay item to be tackled after the half term running finishes on Sun 19th.
In the yard visiting Volker rail tamper on training duties. Newly imported from Holland although built 1997.
Friday 8th June Work continuing on Plate Wagon BB934836 with further Needle gunning, Painting and Straightening of door pin brackets.
